Hello, I’m Daniel, a freelance journalist covering democratic movements and elections around the world. The more I traveled around Europe, the more I learned about geopolitics and international relations.

I’m proud to say that I’m the first American and second Westerner to visit the camp of the Seventh Brigade of the People’s Defense Force. They are fighting for a return to a federal, democratic Myanmar against the military junta that overthrew the democratically elected government in 2021.
